Glennis Staedler, 84, passed away on March 27. She was born Glennis Mae Neufeld on May 1, 1933 to Peter and Anna Neufeld in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She was one of the middle children of a very large family, full of love and laughter. She is survived by 5 children and their spouses, 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents, most of her siblings, and two sons. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, figuring out jigsaw puzzles, watching sports, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church, and always had a large smile on her face. She took pleasure in spending time with all of her friends and family, and loved to tell stories about all of her family members. She will be missed greatly. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 7th at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Independence, Oregon. There will be a reception with a light lunch after the service.
