Franklin C. Rush of Independence, Oregon passed away December 7th at the age of 77.
Franklin was born October 26, 1933 in Flovilla, Georgia to Alvin and Nellie Rush. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Franklin worked for Delta Airlines in Quality Control for 35 years, retiring in 1994. He settled in Independence in 1996 from Kirkland, Washington. He was a member of the Short Wing Piper Club, a private pilot and a licensed A&P mechanic.
On March 20, 2004 he married Theresa Harding in Leander, Texas.
Survivors include his wife Theresa Rush of Independence, sons; Chris of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mark of Tacoma, Washington, Patrick of Seattle, Washington, Step son Charlie Greenway of Austin, Texas, sisters; Judy Ward of El Paso, Texas, Arlene Bolton of Commerce, Georgia and 2 granddaughters.
Private family services will be held.
