Obituary, Evelyn L. Morgan December 6, 1915 ~ May 11, 2006 Evelyn L. Morgan of Salem, Oregon Formerly of Independence died May 11, 2006 in Salem at the age of 90. She was born December 6, 1915 in Independence, Oregon to Harrison and Millie Brant. Raised just south of Independence on a farm, graduating from Independence High School. She worked for the Monmouth paper during the 70's. On March 17, 1936 she married Fory Morgan in Stevenson, Washington he preceded her in death on January 5, 1992. They had one child together Gary Morgan he also preceded her in death in 2001. About 6 years ago Evelyn moved to Salem / Capitol Manor were she enjoyed many new friendships. Evelyn enjoyed Bowling. Survivors: Lucy Morgan Daughter in Law Salem, Oregon "Best mother in law a bride could ever have" Private interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery.
