Evelyn Katherine Lancaster lost her battle to cancer on September 13, 2016.
She is survived by her three grown sons, Gene Jr., JD, and Al Lancaster, their spouses and seven grandchildren. She also had extended family and friends that held a piece of her heart.
Daughter of Alphonse and Flossie Marick, she grew up on a farm in Rockcreek, Oregon. From the time she could reach the top of the stove standing on a stool, Evelyn learned old fashioned country cooking. Her cooking was enjoyed by all and satisfied many hungry tummies.
Evelyn loved to picnic. She loved to spoil those around her. Her loving smile and ornery nature will be missed by many.
