Eunice L. Castleman

Obituary, Eunice Lenore Castleman October 18, 1924 - October 25, 2008 Monmouth - Eunice Castleman, 84, passed away October 24, 2008 after a courageous battle with a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd they were married for 39 years. Eunice retired from Agripac cannery in 1986. Eunice was very active in her community and volunteered for many organizations including Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, the Democratic Society, the Monmouth Senior Center, the Ella Curran Food Bank and Christ Church of Monmouth. She valued her church family and enjoyed her evening card games with her dear friend. She enjoyed nature and loved the outdoors, especially the ocean. She will be lovingly remembered for her forward, independent thinking, her strong work ethic and her dedication to her family and friends. Eunice is survived by three daughters Jeanie Jerry Baker, Michelle, Jeremy, Micki Bonnie Javier Garcia, Michelle, Emily, Heather and Floydene Marvin Klein, Jessica. She is also survived by two great grandchildren Aaron and Cambria as well an honorary daughter Linda Stonecipher. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at Christ Church, 412 Clay Street, Monmouth, Oregon. A reception will follow at the same location.
