Elizabeth "Beth" Anne Kosko
November 12, 1975 - April 7, 2011
Elizabeth "Beth" Anne Kosko of Monmouth, Oregon passed away April 7th at the age of 35. From the day she was born, our Beth brought smiles to the faces of people everywhere and all who knew her saw her for the loving, gentle woman she became. She loved to plant a garden and gather folks together for the feasts she would prepare from the bounty. She loved the outdoors and thrilled to the beauty of her Columbia River Gorge surroundings. There was always a candle lit and a bouquet of flowers in her home. And there was always a song on her lips. After many years of hardship she had enrolled in college and was excited to become a teacher.
Her children Julian and Cecilia were the stars in her sky and her family and friends were her strength. If she was here with us, she would tell you to ask for help in your struggles and to give a helping hand to others. Her friends call her "Lil'bit", but her heart was huge.
Survivors include her children, son; Julian Francis Svaricek and daughter; Cecilia Anne Svaricek of Camas, Washington. Parents; Kenneth & Frances Kosko of Monmouth, Oregon, sister Jennifer (Kosko) Burns and brother in law Darryl of Hillsboro, Oregon and brother; Christopher Thomas Kosko of Portland, Oregon. 1 niece and 4 nephews. Partner; Ryan Gravelle of Camas, Washington.
Visitation will be Thursday April 14th from 9am to 5pm at Farnstrom Mortuary. Celebration of Life will be at the home of Ken & Fran Kosko 310 Walnut Dr. S Monmouth on Saturday April 16th from 2pm to ?.
Remembrances can be made to Central High School Performing Arts Booster Club in care of Farnstrom Mortuary 410 Monmouth St. Independence, Oregon 97351.
