MONMOUTH - Elizabeth (Liz) Beatty passed away in Monmouth on March 27, 2014 at the age of 92. She was born November 29, 1921 in Roundup, Montana to Herman and Antonia Moers. She married John Beatty Jr. in Napa, California. They had five children.
In addition to working for the State of California for many years, Liz led a very social life. She loved visiting and telling others her interesting and unique life story. Her interests included crossword puzzles and reading, and her grandchildren were her delight. Her dream was to live a long and full life.
Liz is survived by daughters Joan Bohag of Arizona; and Shirley Hunt of Monmouth, OR; sons Steve Beatty and Byron Beatty, both of Sonoma, CA; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Richard Beatty.
