Obituary, Edward M. Vincent June 11, 1936 ~ September 9, 2007 Edward M. Vincent of Independence, Oregon passed away peacefully at his home in Independence on September 9, 2007 with his wife in attendance. Edward was born June 11, 1936 in Somerville, Mass. To Frederick and Vivian La Fleur Vincent. He is survived by his wife Judy, one sister of Coeurd'Alene, Idaho. Daughters Cherlyn of Dallas Joanne of Dallas and Michelle of Tennessee. 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He served 3 years in the Military as an M.P. He worked at many other jobs before coming to Oregon where he worked for Georgia Pacific for a number of years before joining the Local 320 Union of Portland, Oregon retiring in 2001. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Camping with his children and family and his Trains. He was an avid collector of many things. At his request no services will be held. In Lieu of flowers he requested that all donations be made to Willamette Valley Hospice in Salem in his memory for all their wonderful service and care so he was able to remain at home with his family.
