Obituary, Edward H. Ranslam April 7, 1933 ~ April 15, 2006 Edward H. Ranslam of Independence, Oregon died April 15, 2006 at the age of 73. Born in Portland, Oregon April 7, 1933. Raised in Beaverton till 1943, graduated from The Dalles High School in 1951. Edward enlisted in the US Army and served during the Korean War Conflict from 1953 -1955. Edward work 20 years of police work, The Dallas, Multnomah County, Union Pacific. Received a bachelors degree from OCE and worked 14 years as a Truck Driver first for May Trucking then Gorden Trucking and finally retired from Safeway in 2000. Ed was ardent member of the National Rifles Association and supporter of the 2nd amendment. Survivors: Janice L. Ranslam Wife Independence, Oregon Married 8-13-63 Edward H. Ranslam II.
