Donna Lee Purdy, 75, of Dallas died May 7 in Salem. She was born to Darrel Cowden and Nellie Myers Cowden in Portland. Donna had lived in Dallas for four years and was retired. She married Oswald I. Purdy on Dec. 25, 1955 in Coos Bay. Survivors include her husband, Oswald Purdy; sons, Michael Purdy, Kevin Purdy and Tim Purdy; daughters, Kelly Stenberg and Deborah Delaney; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be Saturday, May 14 at 11 a.m. at Orchard Heights Winery. Contributions are suggested to Salem Hospital Foundation, ICU Fund, PO Box 14001, Salem, OR 97309.
