Donald Dean Johnson passed away at his Newberg residence on April 22, 2016 at the age of 83. He was born December 11, 1931 in Walker, Minnesota to George and Edith Johnson.
On June 3, 1968, Donald married Catherine Irene Saunders in Michigan. He was a millwright at Mountain Fir Lumber until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and casinos.
Survivors include daughters Susan (Ben) Welty and Joanne Pels; sons Donald, Steven, Michael, Dave and Nick Johnson; step-sons Elden and Lloyd Davis; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, a step-daughter and a granddaughter.
