David Clarence Roscoe July 9, 1934 ~ December 29, 2005 David Clarence Roscoe of Waldport, Oregon died peacefully on Thursday Evening, December 29, 2005 with his daughter and son-in-law at his side at the Pacific Communities Hospital. He was 71 years old. He was born the youngest child to Clarence & Mary Roscoe on 7/9/34 in Corvallis, Oregon. David was a very talented and artistic man, who loved to give away his paintings and drawings to many of his friends & family. He was also a very humble, loving and kindhearted man that would help anyone out in need. He loved living on the Oregon Coast where the weather suited him perfectly. He served in the Army from November 13, 1953 until October 31, 1956, at that time he moved to Albany with his growing family from Fort Lewis, Washington. In later years he was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Waldport. David is survived by daughter, Debra Ropp of Albany & son-in-law Byron, son, Ronald of Michigan and his wife Renee Roscoe. He had 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 more on the way. He is also survived by brother Richard of Athena Oregon, sister, Carla of Alsea, sister Carolyn of Sherwood. And numerous nieces and nephews. His sister Laura to whom he was very close passed away December 30, 2005. Our father, grandpa, brother and friend will be missed for many years to come, as there is never enough time to say goodbye, we love you. At his request no services will be held.
