David Bryan Herrin
May 29, 1950 - December 1, 2015
David Bryan Herrin, 65, of Corvallis, passed away on December 1, 2015. He was born in Mechanicsburg, Mississippi to Charles and Wyllodeene Herrin. Farm chores kept Dave and his brothers and sisters busy growing up. He loved hunting and was an expert marksman and archer. He excelled in basketball in high school and received a scholarship to Ricks College in Idaho. He served an LDS mission to England and upon returning, met and married Mickey Lee Hatch. They are the proud parents of 6 children and 20 grandchildren. They lived in Utah until 1992 and then moved to Oregon. Dave owned and managed 2 stores, Main Street Pizza and Campus Video until his health forced him to retire. The highlight of his life was his grandchildren whom he dearly loved. He also loved babies and animals. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his youngest child, James. Services will be held December 4, with a viewing 9-11 am and funeral at 11 in Monmouth at the LDS church, with interment at Fir Crest Cemetery. Arrangements handled by Farnstrom Mortuary. Memories and condolences at FarnstromMortuary.com.
