David L. Brown

David L. Brown of Independence, Oregon passed away January 24, 2011 at the age of 55. Born February 24, 1955 in Bellingham, Washington to Joseph and Betty Brown. As a long time Independence resident he graduated from Central High School and worked in concrete construction business working for Gelco and Canning Concrete as a cement finisher. "He was the best finisher I have ever met ~ Bob Canning"
In his youth he had a love for music, playing professionally for the Coasters, and also played with the worship band at his church. Dave had a great touch with animals, especially his dog "Spud". Dave was well liked by others and will be deeply missed by many. Survivors include his daughter Angela Brown of Salem, Oregon, Son Jeremy McCormick of Washington and granddaughter Kayley Brown of Salem who is his pride and joy. Also surviving is brothers; Joseph Brown of Brownsville, Ohio and Jim Brown of Australia. Preceded is death by his wife Trina Brown, 2 brothers Glen and Eugene. Celebration of Life Potluck will be held at 3:00pm February 5, 2011 at Lifecenter Foursquare Church in Independence.
