Daniel (Danny) Ojeda passed away in the comfort of his family on July 22, 2020 in Independence, Oregon at the age of 54. Danny was born September 9, 1965 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Francisco and Margarita Ojeda.
Danny was an incredible father, brother, uncle and friend, full of advice, compassion and love for his three daughters, eight grandkids and anyone who knew him. Danny was extremely proud of his family but most importantly his grandkids. He took care of, protected and made them laugh on a daily basis. They were a close tight-knit family filled with love. Danny was a huge fan of the Oregon ducks and a firm believer in the existence of Bigfoot (he was convinced one would eventually be caught someday). He even swore he once saw one when he was a kid! He soaked up every minute of life with his contagious personality, big smile and non-stop jokes that held you captive anytime you were around him. He was an amazing storyteller and had the most talented hands that could fix anything. Though he was modest about it, Danny could make the world’s best BBQ chicken wings. He enjoyed nothing more than having backyard BBQs with family and friends.
He is survived by his ever-loving wife Oralia, three daughters Melissa (Jose), Andrea (Roberto) and Amanda (Joel), grandkids Noah, Jayden, Danny, Franky, Josiah, Julian, Ava and Roberto Jr., 11 brothers and sisters, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a plethora of lifelong friends. He loved them all.
We will profoundly miss our beloved Danny. So in his memory treasure and cherish the time spent with your own family and friends.
