INDEPENDENCE - Clayton Pebley passed away August 23, 2011 at the age of 74. Born in Mayfield, Oklahoma to Robert and Leula Pebley on January 17, 1937. Clayton proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a successful auto parts store owner of Clay's Auto Parts, Inc. for 23 years in Monmouth. He was well loved by the community. Clayton enjoyed growing a healthy garden, spoiling his grandchildren and old time radio. Survivors include his wife Linda Faye Pebley of Independence, son, Michael Scott Pebley of Hanover, PA. Daughter, Myrna Beth Britton of Keizer, Son, Matthew Alan Pebley of Salem. 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 3 sisters, 1 brother.

Visitation will be 2-5pm Monday August 29th with Funeral Services 10:30am on Tuesday August 30th both at Farnstrom Mortuary. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
