Clara was raised in Independence, Oregon, marrying John Cunningham on August 28th, 1953. They were gifted with 3 children: Bruce, Janeen and John Randal, losing Bruce at birth. Clara raised her family at the home place including caring for her mother and remained there throughout their lives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and all siblings except her best friend and sister Viola. She was gifted with seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
