Keizer - Chris Murphy, former resident of Dallas, passed away on December 25, 2012. Chris was born in Castro Valley, CA; son of Charles A. Murphy and Sandy Hodges (deceased). Chris is survived by his wife Elizabeth Cook Murphy, daughter Michelle Murphy, father Charles A. Murphy, step-mother Lois Murphy, sisters Colleen Cuccarese (Jay), Karen Theriault, Patricia Coffey (David), brother Michael Murphy (Kathy), step brothers Ken Petersen (Jennifer), Philip Petersen (Sherry), and numerous nieces and nephews. Chris was a Master Machinist for over 30 years. He is well loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Independence located at 1505 Monmouth Street, Independence, OR. Arrangements by Farnstrom Mortuary. Memories and condolences at www.FarnstromMortuary.com .
