Christie Lynn Johnson of Newberg, Oregon passed away March 8, 2012 at the age of 31. Born in Salem, Oregon on October 7, 1980. Christie graduated from Central High School in Independence in 1999. Worked for Partnership in Community Living (PCL). She enjoyed going to the Casino and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter; Alexis Hayes of Newberg, son; Conner Hayes of Newberg, mother; Susan Welty and Step father Ben Welty of Newberg, brother; Brian Trupka of Salem, Oregon, father; Martin McBeth of Coos Bay, Oregon and grandfather; Donald Johnson of Independence.
Visitation will be 2pm to 5pm Tuesday, March 13th at Farnstrom Mortuary 410 Monmouth St. Independence, Oregon 97351. Graveside service will be 11am, Wednesday, March 14th at Fir Crest Cemetery in Monmouth, Oregon.
