Charlotte Strawn of Salem passed away on January 6, 2019 at the age of 79. She was born July 12, 1939 to William and Erma Moore in Enterprise, Oregon. After graduating high school in Silverton in 1957, she married Loren Strawn on November 28, 1958.
Charlotte loved travel and dancing, and could often be found hunting for bargains at garage sales and thrift shops. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Ronnie Strawn, and is survived by her husband, Loren Strawn of Salem; Randy (Heidi) Strawn of Turner; Rick (RaAnn) Stawn of Maryville, TN; Rhonda (Kirk) Merrifield of Silverton; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 12, from 12 - 2 pm at the clubhouse at 2304 Greentree Court NE, Salem, OR 97305. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org. Farnstrom Mortuary is caring for the family.
