Carol Jean Sedore passed away peacefully in the early hours of October 6, 2013 with her family at her side. She was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on October 14, 1931 to Emil and Carrie Rogahn. She was married in Portland, Oregon to Lewis Sedore, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Carol was a caring teacher who taught in various schools in the Willamette Valley. She loved her kids. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Monmouth, Oregon. Carol loved living on the Willamette River, where she enjoyed boating, waterskiing, gardening and crafts. She also enjoyed the coast, as well as camping and traveling with her family.
She is survived by sons David, Mark and Jeff; daughter-in-law Kelly; four grandchildren; sister, Marion; and many more who called her "Mama C", "Aunt Tah", Teacher and Friend.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 11, 1 pm at Fir Crest Cemetery, Monmouth, followed by a time of celebrating memories at 3 pm at the home of Jeff and Kelly. Farnstrom Mortuary is caring for the family. Please share your memories at FarnstromMortuary.com
