Obituary, Cameron "Red" Doughty December 13, 1925 ~ March 20, 2008 Cameron "Red" Doughty of Dallas, Oregon passed away March 20, 2008 in Dallas at the age of 82. Cameron was born in Seattle, Washington on December 13, 1925, growing up in Seattle area graduating from Roosevelt High School. After High School he enlisted in the United State Navy stationed in Guam. After the service he worked for Widing Transportation for 20 years as a truck driver and dispatcher. Aero Transportation bought Widing Transportation and he continued to work for Aero Transportation as a Sales Rep. At the age of 60 he went to work for Matlack Company, becoming the Rookie Sales Person of the year at the age of 62 before retiring at the age of 70. He was married to Eleanor together they had 3 children. On February 5, 1987 he married Judy Cutler in Hillsboro, Oregon; they later retired and moved to Dallas, Oregon in March 2000. Survivors include is wife Judy Doughty of Dallas, Oregon, Daughter Cathy Parr of McMinnville, Oregon; sons Rod Doughty of Aloha, Oregon and Rick Doughty of Portland, Oregon; Step-Daughters Shelley Charleston of Dallas, Oregon, Susan Coombs of Oregon City, Step-Son Ronald Prentice of Estacada, Oregon. 12 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. Celebration of Life will be held 2:00pm Saturday March 29, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dallas, Oregon with reception following.
