AMITY ~ Brock Russell Lewis Krueger died Wednesday, December 29th in his home in Amity, Oregon at the age of 22. Brock was born on September 27, 1988 in Arcadia, CA to Lonni Nicoll and Brian Krueger.
Brock graduated from Central High School in Independence in June 2006. He went on to LBCC and Chemeketa Community College to study Welding Technology. Brock's intelligence and diligence earned him high honors in welding. He consistently earned grade-based college scholarships.
Brock is remembered for his quick wit, dry sense of humor and integrity. He was a talented auto mechanic. He loved to play and write music. Brock was proficient with acoustic and electric guitars and was learning keyboard and drums. He was a gifted welder who enjoyed hiking, camping, snowboarding and spending time with family and friends.
Brock is survived by his mother Lonni Nicoll, his father Brian Krueger, sister Jelea Nicoll, brothers Austin & Chase Krueger, grandparents Lonnie & Grace Sanner, Pam & John Penrod, Ray & Phyllis Krueger, "brothers" Ryan Fox and Kody Heermann, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Life service at the Monmouth Christian Church, 959 Church Street W in Monmouth at 11:00am on Saturday, January 8, 2011. Food and fellowship to follow service. Condolence messages can be made online at www.farnstrommortuary.com . In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions for final expenses be made to Lonnelle Nicoll at any Key Bank or to the Central High School welding program in Brock Krueger's memory.
