Anita Christine McIntosh 07/29/1960 - 06/26/2008 INDEPENDENCE - Anita Christine McIntosh, born on July 29, 1960, passed away on the morning of June 26, 2008. Anita, the daughter of Don and Dorothy Gibbons, was the youngest of 8 children and lived in the Independence area most of her life. She was married to Cory McIntosh for 31 years and had two daughters, Jenifer and Erin. Anita had a love for family, friends, camping, and all types of birds. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a beautiful smile, infectious laughter and a love of life. She touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her. Donations can be made in her honor to the MS Society, Oregon Chapter. A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1 at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Independence.
