Sherry Lee Sperling

Sherry Lee Sperling, 74, passed away on August 19, 2024, in Salem, Oregon. She was born on March 13, 1950, in Chewelah, Washington, to William Earl Curtis and Margorie Magaline Curtis.
Sherry was a devoted mother of four daughters and a loving farm wife, married to Wendell Sperling. She was an avid quilter, known for her creativity and craftiness. Sherry had a warm and welcoming spirit, always enjoying the company of others and never missing an opportunity to attend a gathering or party. She was a proud and dedicated grandmother, frequently attending her grandchildren's sporting events and dance and cheer competitions, where her presence was always a source of support and joy.
Sherry is survived by her husband Wendell Sperling, and her daughters Jodie Shelton, Connie Karr, Christal Sperling, and Kasie Sperling. She also leaves behind her nine cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A private burial service will be held in the afternoon on September 6th at Hilltop Cemetery in Independence, Oregon. A celebration of Sherry's life will take place on Sunday, September 8th, at 10 AM at the family farm, located at 8675 Parker Road, Independence.
Sherry will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
